Delete your account and data

How to request deletion

Send an email to ayen@memoblok.com from the email address on your MemoBlok account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Sending from the account address is how we confirm the request is yours; if you no longer control that mailbox, write to us anyway and we will find another way to verify you.

What we delete

We delete your account and everything stored with it:

• your account and the email address associated with it;
• everything you have chosen to track, along with its goals and settings; and
• every entry you have logged, including any note, labels or location recorded with it.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its data once the request is completed, so copy anything you want to keep first — email ayen@memoblok.com and we will send you a copy of your data before deleting it, if you ask.

What we do not delete

• Data still on a device you hold. MemoBlok stores your data on your phone, and deleting your account does not reach into a device we have no access to. To remove the local copy, delete the app from that device.
• The account you signed in with. Deleting your MemoBlok account does not affect it; we only remove our own record.
• Support correspondence and records we must keep by law, which we retain only for as long as required and separately from your tracked data.

How long it takes

We acknowledge deletion requests within two business days and complete them within 30 days. Backups containing your data are overwritten on a rolling cycle and are not restored after a deletion. We will email you to confirm when the deletion is done.

If you only want to stop syncing

Signing out of the app stops syncing and leaves the data on your device intact. That is not the same as deleting your account — the copy on our servers remains until you request deletion using the steps above.
