Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. MemoBlok works fully without one, and everything stays on your phone. You need to sign in with Apple or Google to back up, to use MemoBlok on another device, or to share a Blok.

Does it work offline?

Yes, entirely. Logging never waits on a network. Signing in, sharing, buying Premium and these pages need a connection, and backup catches up the next time you are online.

What happens when I sign in or out?

Signing in links what is on your phone to your account and turns on backup and sync. Signing out takes that account's Bloks off this phone. Sign back in and they come back. To stop backing up and keep your Bloks on your phone, delete your account and choose to keep them.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Settings › Raw Data File makes a full copy of everything, free. A spreadsheet and a printable report, under Settings › Export, come with Premium.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings › Delete account and sign in once more to confirm. To keep your Bloks on your phone, turn on Keep my Bloks on this phone first. No longer have the app? Follow the steps on Delete your data.

Is MemoBlok free?

Yes, with up to 5 active Bloks and the Doodle icons. Premium is monthly or yearly, and yearly starts with a free week for new members. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

How do I share a Blok?

Open a Blok's menu and choose Share. Making an invite link needs Premium, and joining one is always free. If a link didn't open the app, paste it at Settings › Sharing › Have an invite link?

How do I cancel or restore Premium?

Cancel in your App Store subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. To get Premium back on a new phone, tap Restore purchases in the app.

What does a code like SYNC‑OFFLINE mean?

Every code the app can show is explained on the error codes page, along with what to do about it.
